Sophia Engman

Sophia is a second year student at Loyola University Chicago School of Social Work.  She earned her Bachelor's in Social Work from the University of Kansas.  Sophia is an empathetic listener who is excited to meet new families and individuals. 

Sophia enjoys building meaningful connections with people around her by taking the time to build strong therapeutic rapport with each client and family. In a counseling session with Sophia, you can expect a safe, non-judgmental free space that is accepting of all races, ethnicities, cultures and sexual orientations. She will assist you in achieving your goals in a confident and safe manner. 

Sophia has experience working with depression, anxiety, anger management, cognitive disabilities, and PTSD. Sophia believes in utilizing coping skills, goal setting, and positive reinforcement to maximize well-being.
