Kristin earned her degree in counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She has experience working with individuals coping with anxiety, stress management, academic challenges, transitional adjustments and emotion regulation.

Kristin believes each person is a unique being with many strengths and emphasizes these in her therapeutic approach. She recognizes that all individuals respond to stressors and change in their own manner, and tailors her work to best fit each person. Kristin believes that the therapeutic relationship is the foundation to understanding client concerns, and is passionate about helping children, adolescents, adults and families move toward positive change.

Kristin uses Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to develop creative strategies for addressing individual and family needs.
