Ian graduated from Aurora University with his Master’s in Social Work in 2023. He has experience mentoring, and coaching youth with PTSD, and Oppositional Defiance Disorder to learn life skills. Helping them obtain the knowledge and skills needed to transition and develop through life.
Ian’s specialties encompass working with children with ADHD through the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). As an individual diagnosed with ADHD, Ian is able to work with individuals in an empathetic and understanding relation. Drawing from professional, educational, and personal experience to form creative clinical approaches and interventions.
Within a therapeutic session with Ian an individual should always feel accepted, at ease, and ready to take approaches that think outside the box. A laugh, and a smile are always welcome as it is Ian’s goal to help others see therapy as a positive, and happy experience.
