Anum Karim, LCSW is a compassionate and dedicated therapist who truly believes in the power of connection and individualized care. Licensed in Illinois, Anum works closely with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families, helping them navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence, clarity, and support. With a passion in supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and major life changes, she always approaches her work with empathy and flexibility. She doesn’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model. Instead, she focuses on getting to know each client as a whole person and works collaboratively to find what feels most helpful and healing for them.

Anum earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. During graduate school, she also worked as an ABA therapist with children facing developmental and behavioral challenges, an experience that strengthened her belief in the importance of tailoring care to each person’s unique needs.

Anum feels genuinely grateful to serve as a clinical supervisor, where she gets to support and walk alongside fellow clinicians, staff, and team members as they grow in their roles. She loves being part of their journey, whether that means offering guidance, sharing knowledge, or simply being a sounding board. For Anum, there’s something really special about watching others find their voice and confidence in this work, and she’s honored to play a part in that process.

At the heart of everything she does is a deep love for this work. Anum is committed to creating a safe, welcoming space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported every step of the way.
